Esports

This year we are doing something new and different! We are focusing on 4 games and 4 esports tournaments for the European Games Week! This time, we will be simplifying the process for teams and players to sign up to the esports tournaments! We will have flexible game days for most qualifiers and we will also be making some changes to how the prize pools work! We want to deliver the highest quality experience for emerging esport organisations while also facilitating the professional organisations! We are restricting the ages of those that can enter our tournaments to 14 years of age and older!

Prize Pools

All our prize pools start off at €1500, however some of the prize pools will increase in size due to a number of different elements! (Such as sponsorship, sold out event and many more). We will keep everyone updated on how it will unfold!

How to Sign up

First Step: Buy Esports Ticket

To enter into any of the Tournaments at EGW, you must first buy the correct esport ticket for that tournament! We only accept pre-made teams though for Rocket League, Rainbow 6: Siege and Overwatch (no teams for Hearthstone), so make sure you have a team before buying a ticket! Once you have bought the ticket, we will be in touch!

Second Step: Joining Battlefy

Once you have bought your ticket, we will email you a unqiue code for you to join up onto Battlefy which controls the tournament bracket. From here, you can join your team or create a new team!

Third Step: Compete!

If you entered the Overwatch and Rainbow 6: Siege Tournaments, you will have your first games in August for your Qualifiers for the live event! Those that enter Rocket League or Hearthstone will be compete on the 21st and 22nd of European Games Festival!
